Hi, my name is Danielle Sprague, and
being a fashion designer is my passion in
life! I’ve known from a young age that art
and fashion would play a significant role
in my future. I first ventured into fashion
by designing a homecoming gown for a
friend. I knew from then on that
designing was what I wanted to do!
Originally from Orlando, FL, I
moved to South Florida in 2004 to attend
the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale. I
graduated in 2007 with my Bachelor of
Science in Fashion Design. I have worked
several kinds of positions within the
fashion industry since my graduation,
everything from bulletproof vest
manufacturing to costuming. Currently, I
am working at Miss B’s Inc., where I am
a rhinestone application specialist; I also
work on patterns and help to organize
and coordinate the production of other
show elements.
Some of my other talents include
digital pattern and marker making
utilizing Gerber technology, fashion
illustration, and rendering technical
drawings and fabric prints with Adobe
Illustrator and Photoshop. I adore
costuming and am very influenced by all
kinds of music and fashion from the
1950s and 60s, amongst other things.
